What This client seeks a "World-Class" buyside Head of Equity Volatility Strategies, based in London. This rare position has become available due to unavoidable personal circumstances and the departure of the current head. The client's target candidate will have a stellar track record of quantitative alpha research, portfolio management, and leadership at a renowned hedge fund, prop trader, or asset manager . We seek a senior candidate specialising in designing, implementing, and running systematic equity volatility strategies. Needed 10-20 years of professional investment management and trading experience Strong buyside track record at scale: 15-20+% AROC, 500m- 1b AUM, 1.5+ sharpe, sophisticated fully systematic strategies Expert/Specialist Equity Derivatives and Volatility knowledge Full quant stack alpha research expert Superb portfolio management/construction, and risk expertise - with demonstrable track record Relocation and sponsorship to London are available. This is a critical and extremely senior position the client will only consider a specialist tier one quantitative equity vol leader with a superb track record.
