Supportive Team: Work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine and complex biomedical tests in compliance with UKAS and ISO 15189 standards Analyze specimens accurately and efficiently to support patient diagnosis and treatment Maintain high standards of quality assurance and compliance with laboratory protocols Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Stay updated with the latest advancements in biomedical science and laboratory techniques Cut a variety of tissue types using a microtome and embed tissue samples Enhanced rates available for those experienced in dissection Requirements: HCPC Registration (Essential) BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science or equivalent Experience in NHS or private sector laboratories Proficiency in relevant biomedical disciplines (e.g., Haematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Histopathology) Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Knowledge of UKAS and ISO 15189 accreditation standards Must have experience in cutting a variety of tissue types using a microtome and embedding Candidates applying from outside the UK must have worked in Histopathology as a specialist area for over 4 years Apply Now!
