Graduate Test and Development Engineer Milton Keynes £35,000 T2M Resourcing are currently working alongside an innovative automotive manufacturing business who focus on powertrain development to help them to recruit a Graduate to join their Test and Development team. As a Graduate in the Test and Development team, you would be responsible for testing, developing and contributing to the overall delivery of powertrain systems for a variety of applications, predominantly focussing on projects within the motorsports and automotive sectors. Key Responsibilities as a Graduate Test and Development Engineer: Carry out performance and reliability tests in order to validate powertrains and powertrain components. Operating test rigs and ensuring tests are run efficiently and right first time. Log issues found during testing and communicate to wider team to ensure resolution of all identified issues. Work closely with more Senior team members around the interpretation and analysis of the data produced by tests. To write reports and document/present data to the wider team and clients to confirm that products meet predetermined specified requirements. Requirements to be successful as a Graduate Test and Development Engineer: Degree qualified in a relevant engineering subject (motorsport engineering, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.) essential. A genuine interest or experience of Powertrain Engineering essential. Experience testing electrical powertrain or ICE powertrain components desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels. Strong analytical and problem solving skills essential.
