General Manager - Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van Southampton Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday Package: £70-£90k OTE, dependent on experience Benefits: Private Health Care, Company Car (ECOS), 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance and pension scheme. The role We are seeking a General Manager to join our Mercedes- Benz Truck & Van division and lead our Southampton facility. This role will see you lead day to day operations across the site including full accountability for dealership financial performance and line management of the dealership leadership teams. Reporting to the Franchise Director this role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, and offers the right candidate a chance to join a successful group with high employee engagement. What you ll do As a General Manager, you will have overall accountability for people and financial performance for the store. With support from your Franchise Director and corporate support functions, you will: Lead, manage and motivate a team of industry professionals, ensuring the facility is adequately resourced Drive a high performance culture, ensuring performance is rewarded and underperformance is managed Oversee the aftersales functions, ensuring performance meets or exceeds targets Set financial and growth objectives for each department, and plan accordingly to ensure profit and productivity targets are met Accurately finalise store reporting, in line with group reporting frameworks Develop and implement initiatives to drive aftersales functions forward Support the facility to consistently achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and standards Ensure facility activities are conducted in line with Marshall Motor Group, manufacturer and regulatory requirements Who you are Given the nature of this role, it is preferred that you have relevant industry management experience, but isn t essential to the success of this role.
