Senior Funds Lawyer (6 years'+) A leading UK law firm is recruiting a Senior Funds Lawyer with 6 or more years' PQE to join its busy and growing Investment Funds team. This role is open to qualified lawyers in Edinburgh or Glasgow. About the Opportunity: The firm s Funds team supports a wide range of UK and international clients, advising on the full lifecycle of private investment funds. The work includes: \n Fund structuring and formation Advising fund managers on private equity, infrastructure, real estate and debt funds Supporting institutional investors with primary, secondar and co-investment arrangements Advising on impact investing, ESG and sustainable finance strategies \n The team works closely with colleagues in tax, regulatory and corporate law and uses innovative legal tech tools to improve delivery and client experience. Key Responsibilities: \n Drafting legal documents including limited partnership agreements and management agreements Reviewing marketing and investor materials Advising on UK financial regulation (including AIFMD and financial promotions) Working with both fund managers and institutional investors Supporting occasional joint ventures and transactions in the funds space Contributing to business development and know-how projects \n What The Firm is Looking For: \n A qualified Solicitor with at least 6 years experience in private investment funds Strong knowledge of fund documentation and investor negotiations Familiarity with regulatory aspects of fund formation A collaborative approach and willingness to support a cross-office team An interest in innovation and improving client service A genuine interest in ESG and impact investment work \n What s on Offer? \n High-quality, meaningful work with purpose-led clients Exposure to international funds and sustainable finance projects A supportive and flexible working environment Career development opportunities in a growing team Office base in Edinburgh or Glasgow with hybrid options \n For more information, please contact Melissa Tang at G2 Legal for a confidential discussion or please apply with an up-to-date CV. #INDCATN
