Our client is searching for dedicated Fork Truck Driver/ Material Handlers to join their vibrant team! Competitive Pay : Earn an hourly rate of £17.67, plus overtime opportunities! Flexible Shifts : Work a rotating shift pattern - 06:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 22:00, and 22:00 to 06:00, Monday to Friday. Consistent Hours : Enjoy 38 hours of work per week. Ongoing Opportunities : Start ASAP Key Responsibilities: You will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations. Your tasks will include: Order fulfilment : Receive and read customer orders, verifying stock availability and preparing items for shipment. Shipping Preparation : Assemble, address, stamp, and arrange transportation for products to ensure timely delivery. Loading and Unloading : Efficiently load and unload trucks, railway cars, or aircraft, ensuring all items are handled with care. Material Movement : Use material handling equipment to move goods within the warehouse or storage facility. Record Keeping : Enter product information into a computer database and verify records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Team Collaboration : Work closely with your teammates to manage time effectively and complete tasks promptly. What We're Looking For: To succeed in this role, you should possess: Experience : Proven experience as a fork truck driver/ Materials Handler licences : Essential reach, counterbalance, and manrider licences.
