Search are delighted to be supporting the recruitment of a Financial Controller for our client's Edinburgh office with hybrid working. Reporting to the CEO, the Financial Controller will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health of the company through effective business partnering, preparing monthly management accounts, annual accounts and cash-flow forecasting. If you're a Qualified Accountant with experience leading a team and looking to make an impact, you would be encouraged to apply. Your responsibilities include: Preparing and presenting monthly management accounts. Conducting cash-flow forecasting to ensure financial stability. Overseeing the preparation of annual accounts. Engaging key internal and external stakeholders in business partnering capacity. Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Implementing and maintaining robust financial controls and procedures. Providing strategic financial advice to support business decisions. Managing the finance team and ensuring continuous professional development. Liaising with external auditors and managing audit process.Skills and experience that will benefit your application: Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Proven experience in a financial controller or similar role. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Knowledge of financial software and advanced Excel skills. Demonstrable leadership ability.
