This is a newly created role for a well-known brand based near Chelmsford who are looking for someone to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the group s financial reporting, drive compliance, efficiency, and financial excellence across the business while supporting strategic decision-making. As a Financial Accountant you will be responsible for: Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP financial reporting standards. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Provide financial analysis and insights to support key business decisions. Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors. Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, sales tax, and regulatory filings. Collaborate with subsidiaries and business units to align financial policies. About You: Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in a group accounting role. Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and US GAAP . Demonstrated expertise in financial consolidation and reporting . Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative finance team. Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills . As a Financial Accountant you will get?
