We have vacancies in Financial Reporting, Treasury and Capital, Children’s Services, Adults, Regeneration Housing and Environment, and Housing Benefits (Revenue and Benefits). We are looking for individuals who are newly qualified or seeking the next new challenge. /p p Responsibilities: /p p Financial Reporting: Manage financial reporting processes and ensure accuracy of the accounts /p p Capital: Coordinates and supports the Council’s capital programmes including funding /p p Financial Strategy & Reporting: Coordinating Medium Term Financial Plan and monthly management reporting /p p Adults: Oversee financial operations in adult services /p p Education: Support financial management in Education including schools /p p Education (High Needs) : Dedicated support for Special Education Needs & Disability (SEND) /p p Regeneration Housing and Environment: Manage finances for regeneration, housing, and environmental services /p p Public Health & Public Protection: Supporting financial management across services /p p Corporate Resources: Supporting Chief Executive and S151 officer and their enabling teams /p p Revenue & Benefits: Supporting critical services that administer council tax, business rates, and housing benefits /p p What You Will Do: /p p Provide financial oversight and support across various services /p p Ensure accurate cost monitoring and forecasting /p p Collaborate with stakeholders to drive service delivery and performance /p p Utilise technology and accounting systems (Microsoft, Agresso) effectively /p p Your Skills: /p p Newly qualified or ambitious finance professionals with a post-qualification experience /p p Chartered qualification preferred but not essential /p p Strong aptitude for numbers and ability to communicate financial information /p p Driven and energetic with a passion for finance /p p Adept with technology and standard accounting tools /p p Are you ready to transform Slough's financial landscape?
