Our client, a nationwide technical automation distributor, is recruiting for a Field Sales Representative to manage and develop relationships with new and existing customers within a designated geographical area around Coventry, Leicester, and Nottingham. This role is remote and field-based, with significant time spent meeting customers face-to-face, ensuring strong engagement and business growth. The position also involves collaboration with the internal sales team to maximise sales opportunities and support mutual customer efforts. Key responsibilities as follows: - Customer Engagement Account Management New Business Development: Solution Selling Product Knowledge Collaborate with Internal Sales Team Diary Management Market Awareness Reporting & Analysis Key Skills & Competencies Strong sales and negotiation skills Excellent relationship-building and customer service abilities Ability to understand and communicate technical product information Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales Ability to analyse sales data and market trends Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in external sales or a similar role, preferably in technical automation or electrical distribution Knowledge of automation products and solutions is desirable Full UK driving licence required This role requires regular travel within the assigned sales region, with occasional overnight stays required depending on business needs Salary: £40K + Commission Benefits: Company car, mobile, laptop, Pension Scheme, Christmas Closure and Private health care
