English Teacher

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Full-Time English Teacher to join a vibrant team in Chichester. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about teaching and has the skills to inspire and support students in achieving academic success.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality English lessons that align with the national curriculum and school standards.
• Fostering a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation, creativity, and collaboration.
• Utilising a variety of teaching techniques and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Designing and administering assessments to monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing strategies for improvement.
• Maintaining accurate records of student performance, including grades and attendance.
• Collaborating with colleagues in the English department to share resources and best practices, and to ensure consistent teaching methodologies.
• Participating in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extra curricular activities as required.
• Engaging in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest trends in English education.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, English Education, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and exam board requirements.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
