Director of Permanent Recruitment (UK, Europe & Africa) Employment Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities Act as the Accountable Person Power Plants, ensuring compliance with Operating Standards, SHEQ, and legislative requirements. Lead and manage operational and maintenance teams to achieve safety, efficiency, and performance goals. Build and maintain effective client relationships to ensure safe, efficient operations and customer satisfaction. Develop and deliver annual operating and business plans, ensuring clear communication and understanding across teams. Plan, control, and optimise budgets, contracts, and CAPEX projects to enhance site safety and efficiency. Minimum Qualifications Hold a degree or HND equivalent qualification in an Engineering discipline. Possess substantial experience in the energy sector or other major hazard industries. Demonstrated expertise in managing energy-related assets effectively. Proven track record of operating at a senior management level within equivalent industries. Capable of strategic-level thinking while maintaining the ability to manage day-to-day operations and performance. Extensive experience in team and site management, including performance management, coaching, and managing staff absence. Confident in attending power plant sites during ongoing operations, able to assess situations, take control, and actively engage to drive optimal outcomes.
