Your new company A renowned research centre located in Norwich, focusing on non-scientific health and safety including environmental sustainability and food security.They are undergoing a re-development and site improvement scheme valued at £450 million - currently standing at 70 buildings from laboratories, greenhouses and datacentres. Your new role Lead on this organisations carbon reduction strategy, supporting their commitment to achieving net-zero emissions.Main duties include Manage their Environmental Officer Support the wider H&S team Ensure alignment with ISO 14001 standards Engage with internal staff to effectively communicate environmental issues What you'll need to succeed An environmental or related degree Previous experience in an environmental / energy manager role in the UK Knowledge of UK based environmental compliance Willingness to work from their Norwich location most of the time (WFH on occasion) Knowledge of ISO:14001 Ability to adapt language to suit varying audiences IEMA membership (ideally) What you'll get in return £45,000 - £55,000 A hybrid policy with flexible WFH Free parking on site 10% Pension (5% employee contribution) Access to private medical care 25 days annual leave What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
