Job Title: Employment Lawyer Location: Sussex, Surrey, Kent or Berkshire (any office location) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Reference: 37110 Our Client: A reputable and expanding law firm Job Description: Our Client is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years PQE to join their established Employment team. This is a dynamic role offering the opportunity to manage a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, support a diverse client base, and help drive the continued growth of the department. Key Responsibilities: Advise employers and employees on a wide range of employment law issues, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancies, and TUPE Manage contentious matters such as Employment Tribunal claims and negotiations of settlement agreements Draft and review contracts of employment, staff handbooks, and employment policies Deliver training to clients and internal teams on employment law updates and practices Assist with the supervision of junior lawyers and trainees within the team Participate in business development initiatives and maintain strong relationships with clients across a variety of sectors Requirements: A minimum of 5 years' PQE in Employment Law with experience handling both contentious and non-contentious matters Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills Strong business development instincts and a proactive attitude to client care Previous experience mentoring or supervising junior team members is desirableApply in the strictest of confidence online and/or via telephone there is no need for a CV for an initial conversation.
