People First in the Bronx Local Team Collarboration: Join our close-knit team of eight physicians and seven advanced practitioners at Montefiore Westchester Square. We operate between Mount Vernon and Westchester Square sites. We maintain strong connections through bi-monthly team meetings. Qualifications: Board-certified or eligible in emergency or family medicine with emergency medicine experience. 2+ years of emergency medicine leadership experience required. Practice in the Heart of the Community Flexible Scheduling: Single-physician coverage ensures a focused and independent approach to medical decision-making and treatment provision. Recognizing the importance of family and spending time outdoors, we offer a flexible schedule. We re always there to support each other when covering shifts. Key Responsibilities: Our Montefiore site is NY s first free-standing emergency department. Cater to a diverse population with a low-volume ED with a high acuity directly, providing a dynamic and challenging. Typical procedures that our team does are airway management, conscious sedation, central lines, and chest tubes. You ll be part of a team that s making a real difference in the health of our neighbors. Rewards and Benefits: Compensation: The clinical hourly rate is 200 for days and 240 for nights. In addition to the hourly rate, the medical director will receive 70,000 per year.
