Electrician (Grade 6) Location: Leicester Salary: £17.60 per hour PAYE or £22.37 via Umbrella Contract Type: Temporary (potential to become permanent after 13 weeks) Working Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join our team. This role involves a variety of electrical tasks, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality. Day-to-day of the role: Perform electrical inspections and testing, including initial verification. Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with the 18th Edition regulations. Use personal hand tools for various tasks; additional tools and a van will be provided if needed. Attend an electrical assessment with one of our Quality Controllers (QC) as part of the recruitment process. The assessment will take place in an empty property and will last a maximum of 3 hours. Maintain excellent standards of workmanship and safety at all times. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must hold the Inspecting and Testing Module initial verification. Must be qualified to the 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations. Must have own hand tools. Full valid driving licence is essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
