Due to continued success and planned expansion, the company is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with 18 months or more of experience to join its London office. This role involves designing and delivering high-profile projects, supporting senior management and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the the electrical design process on assigned projects, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Supporting project management to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Assisting in the coordination of team workloads, working closely with senior engineers and directors.
- Representing the company in client and design team meetings, supporting senior engineer.
- Ensuring efficient project delivery while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Contributing to improvements in processes and design quality.
This role is perfect for Electrical Design Engineers with:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Membership of a relevant professional institution (or working towards it).
- 18 months or more of experience in a similar role within a consultancy or design environment.
- Strong IT skills, including AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech and Dialux.
- Knowledge of Building Regulations, CIBSE Guides and technical standards.
- The ability to manage your workload effectively and collaborate with teams.
- Confidence in representing the company in client meetings and discussions.
