What does the PIP Disability Assessor role involve?\nThe Disability Assessor role will involve you carrying out 3 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone or video assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for a PIP (Personal Independence Payment) benefit. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.\nThis is an exceptional opportunity to work with a well-established, people focussed organisation. You'll receive outstanding training and support to ensure you are the best you can be in your new PIP Disability Assessor role!\nWhat is on offer as a Disability Assessor?\n- Excellent starting salary at £37,500pa\n- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours\n- Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available)\n- Fully Remote Working\n- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + the ability to buy or sell 5 more days + pension\n- NMC or HCPC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided\nWhat we look for;\n An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 year s or more broad post-registration experience\n Someone who s proactive and keen to learn\n Excellent oral and written communication skills\n Competent IT and computer skills\n Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health\nPlease click apply if you are open to hearing more!\nDisability Assessor 1 PIP Disability Analyst
