Diabetes Specialist Nurse\nMilton Keynes\n£44,000 plus 10% bonus + Car Allowance\nFull or Part Time Permanent\nWe are putting together a nationwide team of Diabetes Specialist Nurse Advisors to work in primary care across the country. We currently have opportunities in: Essex, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire, North West London, Peterborough / Cambridgeshire, Slough, South Wales, and Watford.\nIf you are not based in Liverpool, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham or London please still apply as we are actively looking for Diabetes Specialist Nurses across the country.\nYou will be committed to delivering the highest quality care to improve patient outcomes, in line with local and national Diabetes guidelines (NG28).\nWorking in a pro-active manner, you will be identifying sub-optimally controlled patients with Type 2 diabetes, optimising their oral therapy, conducting point of care testing and referring for specialist insulin treatment where necessary, whilst exercising corporate nursing responsibilities.\nContract: Full time part time considered, 4 days per week minimum\nSalary: Around £45,000 annual salary + package (below)\n Annual bonus incentive scheme (worth up to 10% of annual salary)\n Car allowance or company car (depending on contract) + fuel card for business miles\n Company pension, including salary sacrifice\n Private medical insurance\n NMC/RCN fees\n Monthly broadband contribution\n Daily lunch allowance when in practice\n 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (increasing after 5 years service) pro rata for part time\n Laptop and mobile phone provided\nStandard working day would be 8.30-5.30, but this would dependant on the travel to the practice location. We would advise as a rule, a 6 hour clinic plus travel to and from the practice.
