Location: Guildford, Surrey Start Date: April/September 2025 Contract: Part-Time or Full-Time Supply or Permanent Design Technology Teacher Salary: £37,141 to £50,471 per annum / £160 to £260 per day A top-tier secondary school in Guildford is on the lookout for an inspiring and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to begin in April/September. This role is perfect for an innovative educator eager to shape the future of technology education. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 . Teach a range of DT disciplines , including Product Design, Resistant Materials, and Engineering . Guide students in GCSE and A-Level coursework and assessments . Encourage innovation, problem-solving, and hands-on learning through practical projects. Maintain a safe and well-equipped learning environment in the workshop. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Strong subject knowledge in Design Technology, Product Design, or Engineering . Experience using CAD software and workshop tools is desirable. Passion for creative, technical, and practical education .
