About the Role The Deputy Finance Director is a key part of the senior leadership team within a fantastic not-for profit organisation, driving financial strategy, efficiency, and compliance. Working as part of the senior leadership team this position oversees budgeting, reporting, and risk management, ensuring the organisation's long-term financial health. With a hybrid working model and flexible hours, it offers the perfect balance of autonomy and collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation and delivery of financial reports, budgets, and strategic forecasts. Be the key contact with the Finance Director Develop and implement innovative financial strategies to support the organisation's goals. Ensure strong financial controls and effective risk management processes. Provide strategic financial advice to senior leadership, driving informed decision-making. Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, promoting a culture of success and accountability. Identify and implement efficiency improvements Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting standards. Support long-term financial planning and analysis to position the organisation for future growth. Skills and Experience: Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent. Experience in a senior financial management role. Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams. Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A results-driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. Why Join?
