Our Team
The Payments and Treasury team is focused on developing innovative, secure, integrated and seamless payment and treasury technologies that empower our customers to manage their finances effortlessly and confidently, while ensuring the highest standards of reliability and compliance. We re developing a new payments platform for the Bank and establishing a new operating model to enable us to achieve our goals.
What you ll be doing
The Delivery Consultant is a lean thinking change manager who can eliminate delivery impediments and improve operations and the delivery value stream/programme. They are change agents who can implement specific process changes using their organisational expertise to improve efficiencies and effectiveness in our agile teams ability to deliver change. They look at factors such as planned changes in strategy or new emerging technologies and plan for the implementation and integration of these changes into our teams whilst ensuring ongoing delivery of customer value.

Enabling the delivery mission and purpose for individuals and teams.
Listening to and supporting teams for systemic problem identification, root cause analysis, and decision-making.
Eliminating impediments and evolving delivery systems and practices to support development.
Supporting the self-organization that leads to team formation; addressing delivery and quality issues that teams cannot unblock.
Evaluating delivery performance, including team output; providing input, guidance, and corrective actions.
Help build Tribe & squad milestones and roadmaps, as well as the plans that enable them.
Participate in Inspect and Adapt (I&A) workshops; support teams by helping them remove systemic impediments and implementing continuous improvement backlog items.

We need you to have

Strong motivational skills to enable the team to commit to and follow through on agreed delivery.
Great leadership abilities, with superb communication skills as well as the ability and soft skills to mentor and coach newly formed teams.
Demonstratable and numerous examples of learning by experience and doing over learning by certification.
In depth experience gained in a large software development organisation ideally in financial service working with cross functional delivery teams, including co-located and distributed teams.

It s a bonus if you have but not essential

Knowledge of payments and/or treasury technology
Demonstrable experience in a complex multi project delivery Financial Services environment
Knowledge of banking operations or financial service experience
