Our client, a highly successful national Technology company are seeking a Data Cabling Engineer to join them on a permanent basis, covering the Newcastle, Teeside, North Eastregion.\n\nThis is an exciting, field based role where you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of customer technology installation projects, including new premises openings and changes to existing estate in particular structured cabling works.\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\nDeliver on site projects to the customer spec and agreed statement of works, including structured cabling, data communications, IMAC work, and some software upgrades.\nDeliver works in line with Health and Safety standards.\nKeep the customer and Project Delivery team informed of project progress.\nReport any escalation issues to the relevant helpdesk for back office technical support.\nUpdate the Project Manager to ensure smooth communication for the Customer.\nReturning and packaging of decommissioned equipment to HQ for refurbishment.\nCompletion of all relevant documentation including accurate records of stock deployment.Salary & Benefits:\n\nSalary is £31,000.\nCompany Van\nMonday to Friday, 40 hours per week.\nCompany Pension scheme.\n23 days holiday plus bank.\nFree on-site parking.\nLife cover (4 x basic salary).\nGroup income protection.\nFriendly, outgoing, and supportive team.\nExcellent reward & recognition scheme.\nDiscounted gym membership.What we're looking for:\n\nExperience within a field based role, dealing with tech project installations.\nExperience of working with structured cabling, data cabling and peripheral tech.\nStrong administration and use of internal systems.\nStrong awareness of health & safety compliance when working on site.\nExcellent customer facing experience.\nPositive, solutions focused approach to work.\nFull, clean UK driving licence.This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful organisation in the next stage of their growth.
