CPU Architect Location: Cambrige (100% Onsite ) Visa: No About the Role: We are seeking a CPU Architect to join our world-class architecture team, driving the future of cutting-edge processor design. In this role, you ll analyze industry trends, evaluate CPU performance through in-depth benchmarking, and help define the strategic roadmap for our CPU product portfolio. You will work closely with core architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams to translate complex technical requirements into high-performance, user-centric solutions. Key Responsibilities: Analyze CPU industry trends and conduct performance benchmarking to inform architecture evolution and design strategy. Collaborate on the definition of next-generation CPU architecture roadmaps. Partner with engineering teams across geographies to align architecture with client requirements and user expectations. Bridge the gap between high-level architectural goals and real-world implementation. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience in CPU architecture or related areas. Strong understanding of CPU instruction set architectures (e.g., Arm, RISC-V). Deep knowledge of CPU micro-architecture concepts including pipelining, out-of-order execution, and cache systems. Proficient in performance analysis and data interpretation. Strong programming skills in Assembly, C/C++, Python, or similar languages. Comfortable working in a global, collaborative engineering environment. Preferred Qualifications: MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience with SoC bring-up, performance benchmarking, and system-level analysis. Familiarity with memory subsystems and operating systems in general-purpose computing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
