Key Details: Job Title: CPN Band 6 - Psychiatric Liaison Location: Chichester area Duration: 3-month ongoing contract Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (Flexible hours) Start Date: ASAP End Date: TBC Rate of Pay: £25.50 - £26.50 per hour Contact: Hannah Chapman - / A Day in the Life of a CPN: Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse working in a Psychiatric Liaison Team, where you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health care within urgent care settings. Your core responsibilities include: Conducting rapid mental health assessments and risk evaluations in A&E or general hospital wards. Implementing crisis intervention strategies and liaising with the wider MDT. Supporting individuals experiencing acute psychiatric crises. Collaborating with inpatient units, community teams, and social services to coordinate care. Providing clinical expertise and contributing to patient safety and care planning. Ensuring accurate documentation in line with trust and legal standards. Requirements & Qualifications: Current and valid NMC registration and PIN. Essential experience in Psychiatric Liaison or Crisis Mental Health services. Strong decision-making skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A car driver is essential for this role. Working Hours & Contract Duration: This full-time position runs Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with flexibility on hours. The contract is for 3 months ongoing, with potential for extension based on performance and service demand.
