Job Title: Corporate Tax Assistant Manager Location: Liverpool, UK (Hybrid) Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum (negotiable for the right candidate) About the Business: Our client is a well-established firm based in Liverpool, now part of a national network of independent professional services firms. The Role: As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of clients, providing high-quality tax compliance and advisory services. You will work closely with senior managers and partners to ensure the smooth delivery of corporate tax services, while also supporting the development of the firm’s tax team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns for a diverse range of corporate clients. Provide advisory services on corporate tax matters, including tax planning and strategy. Work closely with clients to understand their business and provide tailored tax advice. Manage client relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery and identifying opportunities for additional services. Assist with research and technical advice on complex tax issues. Support the senior team with tax planning and structuring for corporate clients. Oversee and mentor junior team members, providing training and support. Ensure compliance with all relevant tax legislation and regulations. Key Skills & Experience: At least 5 years of relevant practice experience in corporate tax. Ideally qualified (or studying towards) ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent. A strong understanding of accounts, as it is essential for the internal process of corporation tax reviews. A solid knowledge of corporate tax compliance and advisory work. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters to clients in a clear and concise manner. Experience managing client relationships and working as part of a team. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Why Join?
