Our client is a market leader in the provision of support services to the UK Armed Forces. They are looking for a Commercial Director to lead a £500m turnover division which is involved in building, managing and maintaining world class facilities for the MOD. The role: Leading the commercial function and advising the senior executive committee on all divisional commercial matters. Leading commercial negotiations with the MOD. Leading and implementing best commercial practice. Leading, motivating and developing a large team of commercial managers and quantity surveyors. The individual: You will have significant experience of major infrastructure construction projects (essential). You will have a strategic mindset and the ability to translate potential opportunities into real projects. You will be adept at advising a senior leadership team. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills. You will currently be a commercial director in a company which delivers major infrastructure projects with experience of managing a medium to large sized commercial team. Location and Travel: This is a hybrid role with two days per week in Plymouth, two days per month in Bristol, occasional travel elsewhere and the remainder working from home. Salary Direct level package and benefits. Please note: This is NOT a sales role.
