Job Title: Commercial Account Executive Location: York (Hybrid - Remote Available) Salary: £40,000 to £65,000 (Dependant on Experience) The Company: This is a respected, independent insurance brokerage with strong roots in Yorkshire, known for delivering bespoke insurance solutions to a diverse portfolio of commercial clients across the UK. The business places real value on client service, integrity, and long-term relationships, while encouraging autonomy and career progression within a supportive and down-to-earth team environment. Key Responsibilities: As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in both client servicing and business development. You ll be responsible for maintaining and expanding a book of commercial clients while actively generating new business opportunities - a key part of this role is building and nurturing a healthy pipeline. Requirements: Strong background in commercial insurance, with a solid understanding of the market and client needs Proven track record (or clear ambition) in developing new business and building pipelines Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills Self-starter with a commercial mindset and the ability to work independently Experience using Acturis (preferred) and confidence with Microsoft Office tools Job Synonyms: Commercial Insurance Executive, Client Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Corporate Insurance Advisor, Account Manager, Relationship Manager Referral: Know someone ideal for this role?
