Opportunities: Career progression, generous benefits, and a supportive team environment We're looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our dedicated Children's Services team. This role is ideal for a professional with at least three years of post-qualification experience in a Local Authority. You will work in a mixed rural and town setting, conducting Child Protection, Child in Need, and Court Work while playing a key role in safeguarding vulnerable children and families. Key Responsibilities: Manage caseloads and implement care plans for children and families. Conduct single assessments and S47 assessments to determine needs and risks. Hold Child in Need and Child Protection cases and manage court cases as required. Act as Duty Officer as part of the duty system. Support children, parents, and carers in developing sustainable support networks. Prepare detailed casework reports and assessments. Ensure that services meet agreed quality standards and comply with relevant legislation. Work collaboratively with external agencies, community groups, and other professionals. What do you need? To be successful in this role, you will need: BA Honours in Social Work (or equivalent) Current HCPC registration 3+ years' post-qualification experience in a Local Authority in a permanent post. Experience in Child Protection, Child in Need, and Court Work Strong case management and assessment skills Ability to effectively engage with children, families, and key stakeholders Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices Why join us?
