The Role As a Charter Sales Account Manager, you'll be at the forefront of bringing air cargo into the 21st century! You'll leverage our multi-award-winning platform to manage new charter requests and flight operations, ensuring lightning-fast responses to cargo enquiries. Customer Support - Provide ongoing support both during initial charter request and active flights. We are a 24-hour business and you will need to be prepared to be on-call to support customers and the team whenever required. Managing charter flights from request stage through to completion. This will involve negotiating contracts, coordinating flight set ups and handling, load planning and financial reconciliation. New Business Development Through both internal and external leads, you will be expected to develop and nurture strong and lasting relationships with new customers and airline operators. Personal skills/ experience Experience within the air cargo charter or freight sector [Preferable but not essential] Keen interest in innovative technology [Essential] Strong interpersonal skills and sales-oriented approach to new business development and account management [Essential] Highly professional manner with an ability to communicate effectively [Essential] Good existing network of contacts within the air cargo charter industry [Preferable but not essential] Understanding or experience of flight planning, load planning, flight time limitations and aircraft performance [Preferable] Personal qualities Ambitious Driven Ability to work as part of a collaborative team but also work independently Strong interpersonal skills Confidence in developing relationships with clients and suppliers Persistence and great attention to detail Good problem-solving abilities Highly organised and capable of managing multiple workstreams at any given time Ability to manage client expectations Ability to listen to and clearly articulate client feedback Interest in aviation and technology Interest in or experience in managing others as the team grows Join CharterSync and help shape the future of air cargo charter in a role that offers challenge, growth, and the excitement of technological innovation!
