This role will work alongside thought leaders in the profession and would suit an individual who is interested in propelling into a C-suite role in their future career plan. You will have a strong project focus and will provide exposure to cutting edge Capital work across the market. Projects will include: - Solvency UK Reforms - IMAP for London Market Insurers - Capital Management - Model Validation - Capital Modelling The Opportunity Join a leading actuarial practice with over 300 professionals across the UK and internationally. The team advises insurers, reinsurers, regulators, and financial institutions on a range of risk, capital, and regulatory issues. With a strong presence in the Lloyd s and London Market, as well as the UK and European general insurance sectors, you'll work on high-impact projects for some of the industry's biggest names. What You ll Be Doing Deliver advice on solvency, capital, risk, M&A, restructuring, and regulatory change. Lead and manage concurrent projects, often acting as the main client contact. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including international colleagues. Contribute to developing technical offerings (e.g. ESG, capital modelling, risk challenge). Support junior team members through coaching and mentoring. What We re Looking For Experienced actuarial professional (qualified or equivalent) with strong risk and capital modelling expertise. Solid understanding of insurance risks, model development, validation, and regulatory frameworks (e.g. Solvency II). Familiarity with capital modelling software (e.g. Igloo, ReMetrica, Tyche) is beneficial. Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to senior stakeholders. Broader experience across areas such as reserving, pricing, transactions, IFRS 17, or emerging risks (cyber, climate, ESG) is a plus.
