Campaign Marketing Executive Salary £28,000 + 10% bonus OTE UK (Remote based role) Company Overview Commodities People is a business events company specialising in the fascinating world of commodities (yes, you ve guessed it!) and energy trading particularly looking at how global trends such as sustainability, digitalisation and geopolitics are shaping the markets. We are fast growing and global, but small enough for the right person to not just be a cog in the machine and to be able to quickly make an impact. We gather around 35,000 professionals from across the globe each year to our in-person and online events. We also run industry content hubs, ongoing webinars and create content and whitepapers to provide year-round engagement with our community. During the last 3 years we have experienced significant success and growth doubling the size of the company every year and adding events in the United States and Singapore. We have a friendly, experienced, international team working remotely across Europe, America and Asia, and flexibly from our shared offices in London and Houston. Job Brief We re looking for a creative and driven Campaign Marketing Executive with an audience-first mindset to join our growing team. If you re passionate about creating engaging, high-impact marketing campaigns that deliver tangible results, we d love to hear from you! As Campaign Marketing Executive , you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies for our portfolio of world-class energy and commodity trading events. You ll collaborate with Campaign Marketing Managers and the wider Commodities People team to drive attendee registrations and generate sponsorship leads, helping us take our events to new heights. This role is ideal for a dynamic marketing professional with experience in events or B2B marketing. You ll thrive if you re adept at crafting and managing campaigns across email, social media, content marketing, and partnerships with industry associations and media. Ultimately, your goal will be to expand our brand s reach, enhance awareness, and support the growth of our in-person and online events. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute marketing campaigns for both in-person and virtual events, focusing on audience engagement and measurable outcomes. Email marketing : Manage the email marketing calendar, craft impactful campaigns, and work collaboratively across teams to ensure timely delivery. Social media marketing : Build brand awareness, generate leads, and foster a community of engaged followers on key social platforms. Content marketing : Use our extensive library of industry insights to create valuable resources that resonate with the energy and commodity trading community. Partnerships and outreach : Develop relationships with media outlets, associations, and influencers to amplify our campaigns and expand reach. Data-driven insights : Analyse campaign performance, report on results, and use data to optimise future strategies. Creative collaboration : Work with the design team to create visually compelling, on-brand marketing collateral. Website management : Maintain event pages, create landing pages and forms, and update content in collaboration with our digital marketing team. Client marketing support : Ensure smooth execution of client-specific marketing activities and maintain high client satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience as a Campaign Marketing Executive or similar, ideally in events or B2B marketing. Strong customer focus, with the ability to understand audience needs and tailor marketing strategies accordingly. Hands-on experience with email marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, DotDigital, Pardot) and CRM platforms for segmentation and targeting. Expertise in social media platforms and online community management. Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics and social media insights for performance tracking. Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to websites and landing pages. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities. A results-driven mindset, with a track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to work across teams. Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Knowledge of energy and/or commodities markets is a plus but not essential.
