Job Description We re looking for a Business Analyst to join our IT Development & Solution team within Connells Group. As a member of a Scrum team, you will need a unique blend of technical skills, business knowledge, and interpersonal skills that enable you to effectively analyse, communicate, and collaborate across these agile, cross-functional, business aligned teams.We offer hybrid working arrangement with 1 or 2 days a week in our Milton Keynes or Manchester offices. Key responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into actionable technology deliveries. Own the analysis and understanding of the technology requirements for the business area they support. Use different techniques such as interviews, surveys, and workshops to facilitate this. Support product backlog grooming. This involves organizing and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring that it is clear and concise, and aligned with the objectives of the business area they support. Work closely with Software Engineers, participate in sprint planning sessions and daily stand up meetings, provide guidance on requirement and updates on any issues encountered. Play a part in coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) activities. This involves defining test scenarios, coordinating with end-users, and conducting UAT sessions. Support various agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and demonstrations. Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and technical resources. Experience & skills required: Proven experience working as an Agile Business Analyst as part of a fast-paced software engineering team. Background in delivery of successful technology initiatives in customer facing industries. Experience in the Conveyancing/Legal Industry would be desirable Understanding of and experience with SAFe and Scrum. Strong knowledge of Azure Dev Ops, Jira Software and Confluence.
