We are recruiting for an Audit Senior to work in Leicester although this could be hybrid if you wish after your probation when in the office there is parking, you will be part of a small team and we are looking for you to have come from practice over industry, this client offers excellent benefits including flexi hours to work the hours that best suits you to allow a work life balance Monday - Friday working 37.5 hours a week\n\nAs the Audit Senior you will be responsible for the preparation accounts and audit assignments reporting to the job manager. Working under the guidance of a manager or partner, you may be responsible for the supervision of junior staff, will be required to work within an agreed budget using a standard approach agreed at the planning stage with the manager or partner. You will be expected to use your technical knowledge to identify areas for improvement/ efficiency.\n\nAs the Audit Senior your duties will include\nProduce an accounts/audit working file.\n\nConduct audit work in accordance with the agreed procedures.\n\nProduce an accounts/audit summary and a list of discussion points for the manager or partner.\n\nWork within a budget agreed at the planning stage.\n\nIf required produce draft tax computations and a provision for inclusion in the accounts.\n\nInclusion of statutory disclosures in line with the company checklist.\n\nYou will be expected to professionally represent the firm and its interests in dealings with clients and other professionals.\n\nYou will be expected to attend training to further develop and maintain your technical skills and if not yet attained to work towards a professional qualification.\n\nYou will be expected to supervise and help develop more junior members of staff.\n\nYou will be expected to contact clients in connection with non-technical issues such as the collection of debtors and be involved on an ongoing basis in administrative activities such as billing.\n\nAs the Audit Senior your benefits will include\nFlexi hours\nFree parking\nCareer development\nFlexi benefits including buying and selling holidays\nAnnual salary review \nLife assurance\n30 days holiday\n\nOffice Angels acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
