Assistant Branch Manager Plumbing & Heating Merchant Location: Lochaber Region Salary: Around £40,000 (negotiable DOE) + generous bonus scheme Hours: Full-timeSimon Acres Recruitment is proud to be working with a successful national Plumbers Merchant in the Highlands , recruiting an Assistant Branch Manager.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong industry experience and leadership skills to support branch operations, drive sales, and provide excellent customer service in one of Scotlands most scenic and active regions.Key Responsibilities: Support the Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving branch sales targetsLead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service and operational efficiencyAssist in managing stock levels, ordering, and inventory controlDevelop strong relationships with trade customers, local contractors, and suppliersContribute to business development through local engagement and customer retentionMaintain a safe, organised, and professional branch environmentStep into the Branch Manager role when requiredWhat Were Looking For: Experience in the plumbing and heating or wider builders' merchant sector is essentialStrong leadership and team management skillsSales-driven mindset with a passion for delivering excellent customer serviceAbility to build rapport with trade customers and maintain long-term relationshipsOrganised, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced branch environmentPrevious experience in a supervisory or assistant management role preferredWhats in It for You?
