Art Glass General Manager Are you an experienced general manager looking for your next opportunity? Do you have a solid background in e-commerce and operations?Do you enjoy guiding your team to provide the best customer service? If so, we re looking for you! At Pearsons Glass, they have a well-established customer base, and they want to expand their e-commerce B2C market. With over 120 years in business, they manufacture on-site in Liverpool, and our Art Glass team provide specialised glass to their customers online, on site and through great customer management. You will manage all aspects of Art Glass, from the online presence through to operational service. They re looking for a dynamic leader with a strong background in e-commerce, supply chain management and strategic planning to achieve their future growth goals. Your key responsibilities will be: Developing their online offering for sales growth and accessibility Overseeing day to day operations, ensuring inventory, production and logistics deliver Monitoring and managing KPIs Leading your team according to the Art Glass values Managing the marketing function to develop campaigns and analyse trends for opportunities Report Art Glass performance at monthly management meetings, working alongside the finance team Their Art Glass team have created their own value set: B e proud- create the best in knowledge, products and team E nthusiasm - can do, will do, nothing too big or small T eamwork - they see opportunities, not problems T ime - quick responses with accuracy E nvironment - welcoming and friendly, they take care of the planet R elationships matter - customers or colleagues, they respect each other You ll report directly to the Managing Director, Simon McKay and work closely with finance and HR as you lead the Art Glass team to greater success. What s on offer for you: Salary: £42,500 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week Location: On site (L5 9RJ) Bonus: Up to 10% based on agreed targets Benefits: 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), pension scheme, Cycle to Work scheme, free parking, company discount What do we need? 5 years + management/leadership in a relevant role 2 years + experience in e-commerce Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent strategic planning and organizational abilities Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics In-depth knowledge of online marketing strategies and e-commerce platforms Experience in selling online through various marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay Strong financial acumen and budget management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills If you need any adjustments to support you with your application, please let us know.
