If so, this could be the perfect opportunity! Our client, a CNC machinery manufacturer, is recruiting for an Applications Engineer. In this field-based role, you'll set up, program, and train customers on precision CNC turning and milling machines, ensuring they maximize efficiency and performance.\n\nApplications Engineer\n\nPermanent\nSalary dependent on experience\nMonday Friday 08:00 16:00\n\nUK wide travel\n\nApplications Engineer\nJob Description \n\nManually programming and setting up CNC turning machines with milling capabilities at customer sites after purchase.\nProviding hands-on training to customers on programming, machine operation, and best practices.\nTravelling to customer locations to install, test, and optimise precision automated turning/lathe machines.\nDiagnosing and resolving programming, tooling, and operational issues to ensure machine efficiency and accuracy.\nWorking closely with engineering teams to improve processes, document machine setup procedures, and support ongoing technical development.\nApplications Engineer\nEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications\n\nExtensive experience in CNC programming, ideally from a machine shop background\nProficiency in manual programming and understanding of machine tooling (Siemens NX or SolidCAM knowledge would be an advantage)\nWillingness to travel extensively for field-based customer support and training\nApplications Engineer\nCompany Benefits\n\nHoliday\nPension contributions\nAnnual bonus\nCompany car\n\nPlease apply below if this role is of interest
