AML Compliance Officer Private Wealth Focus Top 25 US Law Firm Newly Created Role 4 Days in Office Up to £60,000 I m working exclusively with a top-tier US law firm on an exciting new opportunity for an experienced AML Compliance Analyst to join their London office. This is a newly created position that offers the chance to sit at the heart of their Estates & Personal (E&P) team while working closely with the wider Risk & Compliance function. This role presents a unique opportunity for a compliance professional or experienced paralegal to make a real impact. You ll be responsible for enhancing and embedding the firm's AML framework, particularly in relation to clients and matters managed by the private wealth team. These matters often involve complex international trust structures, offshore entities, and high-net-worth individuals, making this a fantastic role for someone who enjoys detailed, high-value work. You ll be conducting AML due diligence and risk assessments, reviewing intricate wealth structures, and advising both the E&P fee earners and central compliance stakeholders on regulatory best practice. As a trusted advisor, your insight will help shape decisions and ensure the firm remains ahead of regulatory requirements. You ll also play a key role in maintaining accurate records, contributing to ongoing training initiatives, and keeping abreast of evolving AML regulations, particularly those relevant to private client and international wealth work. To be successful in this role, you ll need at least two years of experience in a compliance or AML-focused position within a law firm or similar professional environment. A solid understanding of the UK s AML regulatory framework is essential, particularly as it relates to private wealth and cross-border matters. You should also bring strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and ideally some familiarity with reviewing complex trust structures, UBO frameworks, and offshore arrangements.
