Tutor\nAdult Care Tutor\nPermanent role\nFull-time and Part-time opportunities available\nOxford Role is for face-to-face teaching, no online delivery\nWe are seeking tutors to deliver lessons that prepare students fully for careers as Adult Health Care practitioners. To deliver Adult Health Care qualifications at level 2 and 3.\nDUTIES\n Responsible for teaching, assessment, marking and academic development of the student body.\n Deliver academic subject specific modules to international students from a range of linguistic, educational and cultural backgrounds at level 3\n Remain sensitive to the expectations of different nationalities whilst encouraging an open and questioning approach to learning that leads students to become independent learners\n 20-24 hours per week contact time\n Provide academic support for students\n Develop and maintain an encouraging classroom environment\n Select, prepare and use teaching and learning materials appropriate for international students\n Assess students throughout their modules, regularly creating, providing and marking both formative and summative evaluations\n Provide detailed oral and written feedback to students and other stakeholders\n Carry out administrative and record-keeping tasks\n Using the course descriptor write a scheme of work, assessments and marking criteria to specified deadlines\nESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE\n Recognized Adult Education qualification and/or Recognized Assessor qualification (for example CAVA) or Qualified to PTLLS/DTLLS/Cert Ed/ PGCE (Essential) (or willing to work towards a teaching qualification)\nBENEFITS\n £30,000 £37,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications\n Annual leave 5.6 weeks per annum including public holidays\n Pension\n Free Studies\n Free parking
