P&L Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Accounts Senior to join a growing Accountancy Practice in Glasgow. This role would be an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant ready to take the next step in their career and progress to a Senior. This is a full-time, office-based role, however, flexible working hours/condensed hours and part-time hours will also be considered. Main Duties: Prepare sole trader, partnership, and limited company accounts Accurately process accounting adjustments using software such as SAGE, Xero, or FreeAgent Manage client relationships effectively Prepare management accounts Prepare self-assessment tax returns Prepare and review VAT returns Prepare corporation tax computations and CT600 returns Review work prepared by junior staff Skills and Experience: Previous accounts experience in an Accountancy Practice Strong knowledge of accounting systems, including Sage, and Xero Exceptional attention to detail Strong team player Excellent communication skills Ability to liaise effectively with staff and clients at all levels If you are a motivated and experienced Accountant looking to join a supportive and professional team, we would love to hear from you!
