KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES ACCOUNTABILITIES- CLIENT SERVICE Client facing communications be a senior lead on all client relationships, focussing on strategy, forecasting and growth Receiving briefs from a client and leading in the pitch response process from start to finish To support the Senior Account Director/Group Account Director with relevant pitch/RFP documents and being a part of the strategic development Review and set targets for the Accounts Team with input from senior members of the business Reviewing campaign implementation making sure both the client and agencies aims/targets are met and goals are achieved Creating relevant presentation decks for senior account management teams Being a lead in both creative and strategic internal briefings, making sure client goals are always at the forefront of the finished product Being a lead on finance, reviewing all budgets, understanding targets and reviewing all budget reconciliation ensuring relevant goals are met Build and maintain strong, trusting and honest relationships in line with the key disciplines Attend internal meetings and support both junior and senior members of the accounts team where needed moving around work to cater to resource if necessary Review resource across teams and manage the process to make certain deadlines are met Review all ROI and reporting for campaigns to ensure client goals have been met To manage and be present on site for live activations where applicable Industry insight and analysis Reviewing internal processes and adapting where needed Contributing to the companies social media To be actively involved in writing blogs and have input into company updates Training for junior members of the team to ensure their development is achieved through appraisals, team/ one on one development and training Personal development All associated administration KNOWLEDGE AND CULTURE Understand the key disciplines and ensure that all work is up to these standards Proactively explore and engage with opportunities for networking and learning and business development Keeping up to date with trends and changes to relevant communications and campaign management technology Carry out regular site visits and feedback relevant information to the team and agency, putting these findings in to practice helping develop the team. QUALITY Ensuring all work going out to any client meets the high standards that Undercurrent promote are achieved. Effectively manage own time, workload and resources and that of freelance staff. Ensure that all work is accurate, and attention has been given to the finer details and ensure they are leading by example for more junior staff.
