They are seeking an Account Director to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Hours: Monday - Friday Salary: £50,000 PLUS DOE Responsibilities: Collaborate with Business Directors to develop and implement business strategies and growth plans. Set and achieve annual budgets for clients. Identify new business opportunities within target sectors. Serve as the senior point of contact for a portfolio of clients, overseeing PR and communications plans. Define account tone & style and ensure successful delivery through the Account Manager and Executive Team. Attend critical meetings and approve agendas. Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the team. Oversee client PR, social, and digital content strategies. Utilize client reporting systems to inform future strategies. Lead on new business proposals and pitches. Promote the agency s brand and develop industry relationships. Manage contacts with journalists, commentators, and influencers. Offer crisis management advice to clients. Expand networking opportunities for the agency. Stay informed on industry trends and identify communication opportunities. Participate in client events and industry conferences. Contribute to innovative PR and communication campaigns. Skills & Requirements: Proven strategic experience within a PR agency and delivering results for clients. Experience managing integrated PR campaigns and mentoring teams. Ability to develop client accounts to meet budgets. Excellent pitching, relationship-building, and opportunity development skills. Strong written and spoken English, with attention to detail and creative flair. Approachable, empathetic, and motivational leadership style. Extensive PR agency experience in a senior B2B environment. Strong industry contacts, especially with journalists and media. Track record of successful PR campaigns. Excellent presentation skills, able to communicate PR outcomes effectively. Commercial acumen and experience in new business development. Management experience in team development and performance oversight. Qualifications: PR qualifications from PRCA or CIPR.
