United Living Energy Limited is a UK gas and energy engineering specialist offering design, build and maintenance on critical national infrastructure for the UK gas asset owners. United Living Water Limited provide a comprehensive range of water infrastructure services covering all aspects of pipeline networks including investigation, design, planning infrastructure maintenance, mains rehabilitation, new connections, metering and repairs. Job Description Purpose This role will oversee the Management of Multiple Clean water -utility frameworks throughout the North East. Specific Responsibilities Accountable for the successful management of frameworks Management / Supervision and coaching of Site Managers to ensure effective running of operations Responsible for overseeing operational and technical elements of multiple water utility frameworks Responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered within financial budget and tight time constraints with regular reports back to the Directors. This includes overseeing profit and loss accounts Management of KPI s and production of staff Monitoring health, safety, quality, and environmental issues, working closely with the SHEQ team to ensure safe delivery of works, updating on any issues and ensuring quality Responsible for the management of subcontractors, plant, and materials Key contact in liaising with the client and local authorities whilst conducting regular progress meetings Effective monthly reporting to the Framework Director Build relationships with key stakeholders and communicating relevant contractual information as required Identify and implement opportunities/improvements for commercial efficiencies across operational activities and contracts Lead on contract negotiations and implementation of contract variations as required Provide contract-related issue resolution to any arising disputes or escalations with suppliers Ensure that all processes followed are in line with legislation and company policies and are auditable with crucial documents, information and communications confidentially stored Complete contract close-out, reviewing contracts for extension or renewal, and assisting procurement teams where applicable for re-procurement Qualifications Competencies: Knowledge & Experience Must be an experiences Water Contracts Manager who can organise and manage the completion of site works, for delivery, from a SHEQ and commercial perspective Should have at least 5 years Management experience working on Water Utility Projects ideally for a main contractor Excellent knowledge of Utility Projects and legislation within the Utilities Industry Professional qualified with NRSWA Supervisor / SMSTS and NEBSOH / IOSH as a minimum Proven track record of successful delivery from start to finish Excellent commercial and programming awareness Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages Full UK driving licence Additional Information Benefits: Bike to work scheme Company pension Life insurance Private medical insurance Wellness programmes Additional Information: Must be highly computer literate including Microsoft Office and confident in managing and working with large data sets This job is a full-time permanent role, 8am-5pm Monday to Friday from our Widnes Office Opportunity to spend time in and working closely with other departments will be provided to ensure the successful applicant gains a wide depth and breadth of experience and understanding of the company and industry
