JOB TITLE: Security Officer
LOCATION: Galleries Shopping Centre
HOURS: 4 On 4 Off 12 Hour Shifts, 42 hours per week
PAY RATE: £ PER HOUR

We are currently looking for professional and dedicated Security Officers to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will ensure the safety and security of our clients' properties, assets, and personnel.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing security protocols, and responding to incidents effectively. You will also be acting as first responders in emergencies, ensuring the situation is managed competently.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular security patrols of the assigned area Monitor and operate CCTV and other surveillance equipment Control access to the premises and verify the identities of individuals entering Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, and take appropriate action Prepare and maintain accurate reports of daily activities and incidents Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to visitors and staff Work closely with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary Requirements
Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role is preferred Valid SIA license and appropriate security certifications Strong understanding of security protocols and practices Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations Strong observational skills and attention to detail Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends Benefits
