Position: Business Development Manager - Beds, Hoists, Pressure relieving devices.
Location: North East, Yorkshire and Humberside
The Company:
Our client is recognised as one of the principal manufacturers of specialist pressure relieving equipment in the UK.
Role:
As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for managing Primary and Secondary Care sales of a comprehensive range of dynamic pressure relieving systems including beds, mattresses, hoists, seating systems and accessories. Paediatric and Bariatric products to facilitate moving and handling are part of the pressure care portfolio.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 basic, depending on experience and realistic 6K bonus, with stakeholder pension, 22 days annual + 8 bank holidays, company car.
The successful candidate will:
- Exceed area sales and gross profit targets agreed with the company
- Maintain and develop existing accounts through business relationships
- Open and develop new accounts and regenerating lapsed customers
- Adhere to an Area Business Plan intended to increase Sales Order
- Provide customer training and workshops of product range
- Participate in relevant trade shows, exhibitions and local events
- Support Sister companies and distributers on territory
- Maintain contact and present to all Decision Making Units
·To submit weekly planned visits, and updated sales forecast.
·To submit monthly detailed resume of activities on area, via written report
Desired Background:
- Three years minimum well documented sales experience, preferably in medical equipment healthcare industry
- Pressure Area Care sales experience
- Familiar with selling to both Acute and PCT
- Basic IT skills, especially Microsoft Office
- Nursing qualification or healthcare experience beneficial, not essential.
