URGENT! My rapidly expanding client is looking for a Support Engineer based just outside of Sheffield City Centre (S21) to join their fast paced team. You will have strong experience providing technical support in a Microsoft environment - You will be supporting a Windows 2003 environment, as well as supporting users Windows XP / 2k3 desktops, providing support via telephone & email. You will have experience with SQL Server & apps and a strong knowledge of VMWARE support as well as being able to get involved in the up coming projects down the line. You should have good networking skills, with a good knowledge of recent technologies including LAN, WAN, VPN, switches, routers & firewalls.

We are not looking for a comms or server engineer - more an all round support person with experience ranging from 1st / 2nd line servers & desktops to network & project support. You will have at least 3 years experience in a similar environment & the ability to pick up projects & run with them, learning as you go.
