My client was founded by during the eighties and has grown to be recognised as one of top print management organisations in the UK, ranked 15th by a recent Print Week review. The company is recognised by its clients and competitors for quality of support and buying power. This recognition comes from the successful delivery of large scale print projects that combine paper sourcing, web offset and gravure print production and direct mail fulfilment throughout Europe. In addition to providing print management services my client manages paper contracts on behalf of its large multinational clients including Cendant and Hoseasons that exceed £10million per annum. As part of my clients growth plans over the coming year they arenow seeking to recruit a Print Management Sales Development Manager to drive the business forward selling their range of print management services across all industries. The New Business Developer will report into the CEO. The role itself is multifaceted and will involve the right candidate being instrumental in helping my client achieve its goal of being the first name on every relevant tender list. You will be required to:- Communicate externally with prospective and current clients Identify and take briefs from prospects and clients on site and off site Brief, assist and give advice to the studio Assist with contract development and client relationships Prepare project quotations and respond to tenders Project manage print production and direct mail Attend press passes Actively keep up with technology and have a commercial awareness of competitors To apply for this role, Applicants will be able to demonstrate successful track record in winning and developing client revenues within one or more of the following areas Web/Gravure Print Production, Print Management, Direct Mail or Agency. An understanding of, and experience in Print Management in order to sell the benefits and overarching philosophy of Print Management will be advantageous. Evidence of consistent achievement against & above target. Proven record of portfolio development selling complex products and services. In terms of personal attributes the ideal candidate will:- be someone who has a strong desire to achieve results, can openly contribute and influence others whilst coping with change as the organization grows. Be confident and MOTIVATED to succeed in a sales environment Be able to work independently and consistently to achieve results. Be determined and tenacious Be intelligent - must have the ability to assimilate technical information. Have excellent written and oral communication skills to Senior Management level. Have strong business acumen ability to make sound business decisions. The fortunate individual will enjoy a 40-50k basic (neg) salary with a lucrative commission structure based on Performance.
