Established for over 30 years, a leading International provider, specialising in Information Infrastructure that is growing at 45% year on year when the average for the Worldwide industry is just 6.5%, is looking for a Business Development Manager in the South East, ideally around London as their UK Head Office is based in Reading. My client, with offices in the UK, France and Germany was identified as one of the top ten fastest disaster recovery and growth storage integrators with accredited partners including EMC, VMWare, CA, Brocade, and is now at the forefront of their development. Based on their recent success, they are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager for new business sales.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving the new business development, prospecting and securing new client business in this highly competitive market. You will be selling complex Information Infrastructure solutions, including Disaster Recovery, Storage Management, Software and Backup solutions of which you will target the Corporate market, especially Banking and Finance. This role would include proactively sourcing new business through your own lead generation, however you will be assisted by a dedicated Telesales team. In addition, you will have the freedom to manage the clients you bring on. This role will suit a Business Development Manager looking to excel their career and you will see a clear and structured career progression path, tailored to your abilities and performance.

You will have come from a re-seller within this industry and will need to be a New Business sales professional who can demonstrate the brand at the highest of levels. Forward thinking sales professional’s with previous experience in Disaster Recovery, Storage Management or any other backup solutions will put you at an advantage in the interview stages. If you believe you have the ability, the hunger and the drive to work for a major player who are continuing to go from strength to strength, you could well be the right candidate for us.

Your returns will start with a base salary of up £60k with an OTE in your first year £150k, uncapped. Top reps are earning in excess of £300k!!
