Configuration Management Engineer contract
I have 2 contract positions for Software Configuration Management Engineers that will be based in Dublin City Centre. You will be working in a team with other Software Configuration Management engineers and the role would involve active participation in build & continuous integration on development projects, development environment set-up, maintenance and improvement, tech stack set-up and continuous investigation of ways to improve development productivity using support tools. Ideally you will have experience working within a Java environment in the past although this is not essential. I am looking for candidates with experience with the following :
Branching
Merging
How to patch/update a system
How to deploy / configure systems
Knowledge of at least one scripting language ideally Groove but not essential
Dependency Management Ivy / Maven
Migrating to subversions
ANT
