Description
Prodrive is one of the world’s leading motorsport businesses. Our Automotive technology division works with the world’s vehicle manufacturers to help them create cars consumers want. It develops innovative technology which improves the performance, safety and desirability of the products of the world’s automotive industry through full turnkey programmes.
Job Purpose: To manage the overall Prodrive Performance Centre business profitably and to expand the business model to continue to grow the business.
Key Responsibilities:
? Achievement of turnover and profit budgets
? Customer satisfaction delivery and monitoring
? Expansion of Prodrive Performance Centre in line with strategic business plan
? Management and development of all direct reports
? Efficient and safe operation and delivery of programmes in Prodrive Performance Centre
? Responsibility for Prodrive Performance Centre activities compliance with test track procedures and adherence to event health/safety requirements
? Controlling all financial aspects of the expenditure and revenue, including contracts with third parties and suppliers
? Management of pre-production and production of projects i.e. event days, vehicle launches etc. This will include creating and maintaining strong business relationships with clients
? Ensure all services, equipment and facilities are designed, installed, purchased and maintained in line with Company requirements and legal/planning needs
? Follow up and secure business from enquiries made through the office and site visits
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Education/Qualifications:
? High standard of education to degree level or equivalent
? Commercial Astute
Work Experience:
? A background in Event Management and/or driver training/experiences
? Account management skills, knowledge of contacts within the Motorsport Events industry
? Previous responsibility for managing the profit and loss and cash flow of a business
Management Skills:
? Experience at managing a team
? Ability to remain calm under pressure and use the team’s resource to help solve situations as and when they develop
? Motivation and leadership skills
? Specific sales management skills
? Planning and budget preparation and management
